Can I print or save images from Picture Australia?
You can print or save an image found through Picture Australia for your own research purposes. For example, you can print an image to include in a school assignment. You must attribute the image, by including the title, the creator’s name and the organisation that owns it.
For all other uses, such as publishing an image in a book or on a website, you will need to seek permission from the copyright holder. More information is available on the Copyright and Request a Copy pages.
How Do I obtain permission to publish an image from Picture Australia?
When you find an image in Picture Australia that you would like to order or publish, click on the
‘Request a copy’ icon, follow the instructions provided and fill out the necessary forms available on the following page.
